Recycle Your Tires at Firestone

Eat at Burgerville
During March 25th - March 31st, visit any of Burgerville’s 39 restaurant locations in Oregon and Southwest Washington to donate. Burgerville guests can donate in 2 ways:
- Order a delicious Burgerville “Fresh Strawberry Shake” and a percentage of the purchase price will be donated to SOLV.
- Bring your small change for SOLV to any Burgerville. Just look for the donation receptacle in restaurants.
What is Small Change for SOLV? Go straight to the PARTICIPATE page to learn about all the ways you can help make Small Change for SOLV and a Big Change for Oregon. The Small Change for SOLV-Big Change for Oregon campaign was created to fill a gap in SOLV’s funding. We want all Oregonians to consider raising funds through the collection of small change.
How it Works? - Create your Small Change for SOLV receptacle following the instructions on the PARTICIPATE page
- Fill up your receptacle with change
- During the week of March 24th, take your receptacle to any Oregon Wells Fargo Branch, Oregon Pacific Bank, or other participating bank location. (Complete list of participating banks coming soon!)
What is SOLV and why is there a gap? SOLV was founded in 1969 by Governor Tom McCall and community leaders as a non-profit organization. It unites government agencies, businesses and individuals through volunteer projects that enhance the livability of Oregon. SOLV is famous for pioneering the Great Oregon Beach Cleanup.
Today, SOLV is so successful organizing volunteer cleanup events that requests for services outweigh funds available, thereby creating a GAP. Since 1997, SOLV has provided an estimated $60 million in services to Oregon. SOLV is NOT a state agency. Instead, SOLV relies on corporate sponsorships, grants and a few private contributions to fund all the services SOLV provides. Without solving this gap, SOLV will not be able to answer the increasing number of requests for programs, events and services that they receive each year.
Your small change for SOLV can make a big change for Oregon! |
